Scheduled tree maintenance for commercial sites
We inspect and maintain trees, hedges and vegetation for facilities managers, estates, schools and business parks across North Yorkshire and County Durham. Book planned pruning, deadwood removal and boundary clearance as part of a programme suited to your site.
Each programme starts with a site assessment. We agree the work, access arrangements and visit cycle with you, then provide a written quote. Visits can be arranged around your operating hours, site inductions and other contractors. Send the details of the property to start the conversation.
What a commercial maintenance programme includes
- Inspection cycles
- Inspection intervals agreed after assessing the trees, site use and surroundings, including buildings, roads, car parks and public paths.
- Planned tree work
- Agreed deadwood removal, crown reduction, crown thinning, crown lifting, formative pruning and tree removal where the assessment supports it.
- Hedge and boundary care
- Hedge trimming, staged reductions and boundary clearance scheduled around species, nesting-bird checks and the way the site is used.
- Visit reporting
- A completion note records what was inspected, what was done, what needs watching and when the next visit is due.
RAMS, access and live-site controls
Before work starts, we prepare site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS). These cover the working area, people and vehicle routes, equipment, services, weather limits and waste handling.
Tell us about inductions, delivery times, fire routes, public access and other contractors. We agree the working hours and exclusion areas around those requirements. Any mandatory contractor checks must be confirmed before appointment; see our qualifications and eligibility information.
Reports, permissions and records
We check for Tree Preservation Orders and conservation-area restrictions where they affect the work. If you have a BS5837 survey, tree schedule, planning condition or ecology report, send it with the enquiry. We explain any approvals needed before agreeing a date.
The completion report gives your team an audit trail for the visit. It isn’t a substitute for a formal tree survey or specialist ecology report. We’ll say when one is needed and can quote the tree work once the relevant information is available.
What is outside a maintenance programme
Routine maintenance doesn’t include demolition, groundworks, arboricultural surveys, ecology surveys or unplanned work outside the agreed scope. Emergency call-outs can be prioritised separately. Commercial tree maintenance pricing
We quote per site and visit cycle. The price depends on the number and size of trees, condition, access, traffic or pedestrian controls, waste volumes, equipment and whether the work is planned as one visit or staged. A written quote states the included tasks, exclusions, reporting and any separate costs before the first visit.
Method statements and emergency response
Each visit uses a site-specific method statement within the RAMS. If a defect becomes urgent between visits, the programme can flag it for an emergency response and a separate make-safe scope.

How often should commercial trees be inspected?
The interval depends on tree condition, site use and the potential consequences of failure. We recommend a cycle after assessing the site, and explain when changes or storm damage should prompt an earlier check.
Do you provide RAMS for recurring tree maintenance?
Yes. We prepare RAMS around the agreed site, access arrangements and tasks before commercial work starts. Site rules and inductions are incorporated into the plan.
Will you work while our site remains open?
We assess operating hours, public access, deliveries and emergency routes before booking. The method and exclusion zones are set around those constraints.
What is included in the maintenance report?
The completion note records the areas inspected, work completed, outstanding observations and a sensible next-visit recommendation. It doesn’t replace a specialist survey where one is required.
Can you maintain several properties?
Yes. Send the addresses, site contacts and any existing tree records. We can assess a multi-site programme and quote the visits and reporting scope in writing.
